Advice and implementation are different purchases.
A strategy engagement helps you decide what is worth doing. A build turns an agreed scope into a working system. Buying a Strategy Day does not include a finished application, integration, or a promise of a particular financial return.
If you already know the problem, you can bring it directly for an implementation proposal. You don’t need to purchase a workshop first just to ask about a project.
What changes the price of a build?
- The workflow: how many steps, people, approvals, and exceptions the system needs to handle.
- The data: where information lives, how reliable it is, and who may access it.
- The integrations: which systems support suitable APIs and how failures must be recovered.
- The release: testing, training, rollout, and the level of support required afterward.
A document-search pilot for one team and a business-wide application are different scopes. A useful proposal explains that difference through deliverables and responsibilities.
Ask these questions before signing.
- What exactly will we receive, and how will we decide it is ready?
- What does our team need to provide?
- Who pays for software subscriptions, model usage, and hosting?
- Who owns the code, documentation, and accounts?
- How are errors detected, and who supports the system after launch?
- What would trigger additional scope or a change in price?
Start with one decision.
If you’re unsure where to begin, identify a recurring task and describe the problem in plain language. Record how often it happens, who does it, and what makes it difficult. That is a better starting point than a list of AI tools.
